Masterson-Kane graduated from Adelphi University with a Masters
Degree in Social Work. She also holds a Post Masters Certificate
in Family Therapy from Hunter College. In addition to being a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New Jersey and New York,
Ms. Masterson-Kane is a certified alcoholism and substance
abuse counselor. Ms. Masterson-Kane's previous employment
includes St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center where she was
supervisor of the Family Therapy Program in the Outpatient
Alcoholism Unit and Valley Home Care where she provided clinical
services in the home. Ms. Masterson-Kane is currently a partner
in Elder Care Options and has a private psychotherapy practice. She has extensive experience as a lecturer on the role of the
caregiver and substance abuse and the family.
Hemphill received her Masters of Social Work from Fordham
University and also holds Bachelor of Social Work and
Certification in Gerontology from Ramapo College. In addition
to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New Jersey
and New York, Ms. Hemphill is a Certified Advanced Social Work
Case Manager/Aging Life Specialist. Ms. Hemphill has
received training by The Hoarding Disorder Institute and is
recognized by the HDI as a specialist in Hoarding Disorder.
Ms. Hemphill’s previous employment includes The Paterson
Coalition for Housing, where she served as coordinator of the
Kinship Care Program and provided supportive services to
families in a residential program and clinical home care
services to clients while employed at Valley Home Care. Ms.
Hemphill is presently a partner in Elder Care Options and
President of Hemphill Consulting. Ms. Hemphill has a private
psychotherapy practice. Ms. Hemphill has extensive
experience as a lecturer on the role of the caregiver. cultural
diversity, hoarding disorder and other senior related issues.
Ms. Hemphill is a notary public in the State of NJ.
